Thoughts on Being Paper – Haiku Collection

paper folded once,
never is the same again,
paper folded twice

men say they love you
forever creased in places
I am origami

folded, bended knee
translucent, fragile, thinning
vellum paper doll

paper lanterns sit
remembrance meant to fly.
stationary hopes.

words are everywhere
scratched out in the margins
so much unused space

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart” — William Wordsworth
